We prefer using digital sound files which can be sent via email, however cassette tapes can work if you are willing to be flexible.

WAV, Mp3 and AIFF files are examples of digital sound file types, but we are equipped to handle nearly any format.

There are a plethora of ways to make digital recordings of your children. Many computers (especially lap tops) have built in microphones. Most mp3 players have attachments that can be bought which allow them to record.

If you have no other means, you can purchase a Digital Voice Recorder

If you live in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area of North Carolina, I can assist you with the recording of your children.

Cassette tapes can be sent to us and used with the following things understood.

1. There will be a charge for transfering the tapes to a digital format. The charge is 10 ten dollars for every 30 minutes of material.
2. If you choose to use this method, please be mindful of the time it will take to send the cassette to us, as it may affect our ability to have the song ready by Mother’s day.
3. Micro-cassettes cannot be used.
